Natalie was fortunate enough to be placed on a very good soccer team this year. She learned so much from all of these older girls (5th and 6th graders). They were a pleasure to watch because they worked together so well and passed and handled the ball beautifully. More importantly, they were so nice to Natalie and the other 8 year olds. The Stingers were undefeated with 1 tie and only let 2 goals in the entire season. Most of the games were won by more than 5 points! They won the championship today against the purple team in overtime. It was tied 0-0 and we got a penalty kick and won. While I wish Natalie was just a little older when she had this experience so she could fully appreciate it, it was very neat to watch her be part of something so special.
