Anthony was one of four boys chosen from his baseball team to play in the first ever 2011 Manchester Baseball All Star game. It was a great experience for him and his teammates. The game was more fast paced and exciting than they were used to. It was a smart way to give the boys motivation to keep playing next year.
I love watching Ant play. He has a beautiful swing and his fielding is improving. He really gets his head in the game. Tonight he had some awesome hits and even had a double with a hit down the third baseline. He was in the zone even on the bench, paying attention while most of the boys were goofing off. We were SO proud of him. It was a great way to end the season for these boys!
