Natalie had an entire weekend devoted to her this birthday! We had a small family celebration on her actual birthday and then on Saturday after 2 parent vs. children soccer games and pizza parties, we picked up Natalie's best bud from kindergarten and took them to get their nails done. They both picked electric blue! It was a lot of fun. Nat had chosen to have a special day with Morgan instead of a big party with school friends this year, which I thought was sweet. After that we let Nat pick a restaurant and, of course, she picked Applebees, so we met Mom and Dad there for another family dinner.
Sunday was her big party with the whole family over (except for the Buttreys and Grandma Peggy who couldn't make it). Nat chose tacos for the meal and picked out a cake when her class walked to the grocery store during the week. Mom brought it and we decorated it with ICarly figures and crazy candles. Natalie got some nice gifts and had a great time playing with Carter and Morgan. All in all it was a nice weekend. We can't believe how time flies!
